Clothing
The clothing differed if the people were rich or poor. People weren't allowed to have bright colors on their clothing. They were difficult in the middle ages. Their clothes were to show off on men and women. Men wore tunics that touched the ground, and most of the ladies had that feature too. Wearing pants was a Germanic idea, but the Romans disproved it, but it caught on any way. Especially for men that rode horses and in colder areas. Other men wore tights under their tunics, but when it was cold outside they wore wool cloaks.
